Chair & Board Member

Dai Smith is an Executive Sales Consultant at Alcon Labs, a Novartis Company. She started her career in 2006 as a Sales & Marketing Intern for the Ophthalmic and Optometric Divisions in Ft. Worth. As a sales consultant, she has won several performance and leadership awards, and lead many innovative projects including projects for Women in Leadership and the Diversity & Inclusion Council. Outside of her normal responsibilities, she has lead projects with marketing and account management teams in 2014 and 2016. Her ultimate goal is be a Sales, Marketing or Account Director in the Healthcare industry. She also has aspirations to be an author and start her own professional organizing consultant business.

Dai graduated from Howard University in Washington, DC in 2008 with a B.B.A in International Business and received her Executive MBA from Texas Woman’s University in 2013. Dai enjoys traveling, doing organizing and design projects, attending local Houston events and spending quality time with family both in Houston and in Dallas.

She is married to her high school sweetheart and pharmacist, Johnathan, and they live in Houston with their 1 ½ year old son, Jaxson.

She serves as a board member in HUHH and volunteers regularly at annual events.
